“At My Age” Business, Financial, and Wellness Conference event.
Saturday April 29, 2017 the ‘Onyx Women’s Network’ (OWN) recently had their “At My Age” Business, Financial, and Wellness Conference event at the Jeron X. Grayson Center. This event was created to help women evolve through the different stages of life.
The event began at 10:00am with continental breakfast. The event was divided into three master classes where experts led discussion on finances and business.
Owner of BT Community Consultants, LLC Brenda Tate, Founder of Reaching Out with Passion, Dionna Rojas, and Co-owner/Therapist, Hand-in-Hand Counseling Services LLC with Sharise Nance all led the first class entitled; We’ll Rise Up/Self Care.
The event sponsors consisted of PNC Bank, Moriarty Consultants, SD Transit, Port Authority, Three Rivers Adoption Council, and The New Pittsburgh Courier.
Financial Counselor, Thompson Real Estate Consulting Tammy Thompson, Author and Coach, Sweet Inspirations LLC Dr. Renee Galloway gave the scoop on how to be financially savvy sisters.
Lunch was also provided.
The final class was entitled Women in Business led by a powerful conversation with Lachelle Binion of The Kismet Life + Blogger, Arlinda Moriarty President and CEO of Moriarty Consultants Inc. and Kyshira Moffett of the KSM Group and Brand Strategist.
The discussions were moderated by OWN owner, Ola Jackson.
Gifts for attendees and raffle giveaways were provided by Women’s Yellow Pages, Mary Kay, The Vitamin Store, Whole Foods, Deborah Trammell, Flowers in the Attic, Allen’s Spa, Eclips Hair and Nails, and PNC Bank.
